What is the Perry County Family and Children First Council?

And the answer is:

If any Perry County Ohio family has a conflict or need with their child/youth, Perry County Family and Children First Council (PCFCFC) may be able to help.

We determine needs and strengths of family functioning with an assessment. From there a referral might be made for a service or resource in the area or we will set up a family meeting and begin Service Coordination.  Service Coordination is a process used to gather various agencies that serve families together around a table with the family. We discuss goals of the family and what we can do to help the family resolve conflicts.  Some families may only be involved for three months, others may continue Service Coordination for years. With services from PCFCFC, and other agencies, our goal is to improve the current situation, so there is no risk of the child/youth being placed outside of the home.
