Floor leveling. April 17th, I offered a bit of an explanation about the process of leveling the floors prior to when the carpet gets laid. I thought a couple videos may be helpful to actually show the work process. I was asked if we were going to refinish the wood floor and leave them exposed. The answer to that is “No”. By our best investigations, the wooden floors were never exposed for use originally. Some small back-office rooms may have been originally exposed. However, they all had that lovely asbestos floor tile that we removed. The floors were not sanded to a smooth finish that would have been evidence of an exposed wood floor. All these wood floors are being leveled and will be carpeted. You can see little channels in that floor in the video, as the fill was being applied. That is where an existing wall was removed. All those variations are why we are floor filling and leveling with this method.
