Job Description
This position involves enforcing Ohio’s dog laws and caring for dogs housed at the Perry County Dog Shelter.
Experience & Requirements
Requirements for this position include the ability to lift at least 50 lbs and engage in strenuous activity, a valid driver’s license, ability to work in all types of weather, pass a criminal background check, ability to work on Sat or Sun, able to be on call after hours, and competent report writing skills. Knowledge of dog behavior, medical needs, and dog handling skills is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
This position is full-time and includes health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, vacation days, sick leave, and the ability to earn comp time. Pay is to be determined.
