Coffee with Some Commissioners Returns to Dodson’s
Breakfast will return to Dodson’s in New Lexington this coming Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
UPDATE: The restaurant is still awaiting inspections so we’ll be meeting at The Gathering Place (right next door). A breakfast buffet will be available for $10 per person (cash, please).
Amy Frame, our Perry County JFS Director, will reflect on the recent successes and milestones at Perry County Job & Family Services. She will celebrate the incredible turnout and impact of this year’s Back to School Bash, recognize the successful completion of two summer youth employment programs, and highlight Child Support Awareness Month.
Looking ahead, Amy will share details about the upcoming Night of Hope in November—an inspiring evening dedicated to honoring the outstanding work being done with and for families and children across our community.
So once again set your alarm and get your lazy bones up early next Tuesday and join us at Dodsons in New Lexington August 26th, for the August Coffee with Some Commissioners. Get a great breakfast once again at Dodson’s and listen to Amy share some great progress at JFS.
(In the event that there are problems in the next few days and the restaurant cannot open for the Tuesday Breakfast, we will meet in Dodson’s “Gathering Place” next door to the restaurant. Just come into the place with the lights on.)
Coffee with Some Commissioners is open to everyone to share the great work around Perry County and RSVP is never needed.
I hope to see you this coming Tuesday and let’s welcome Cheryl back in business again!
Perry County Commissioner Ben Carpenter
