Perry County Ohio Commissioners Scott Owen and Ben Carpenter present two AED units to a representative of the New Lexington Police Department. On Wednesday March 19th, The Perry County Board of Commissioners presented 2 mobile AED (Automated External Defibrillator) units to the Village of New Lexington. These units will be deployed with New Lexington Police Officers so they can reduce critical response time during a cardiac arrest. These AEDs are GPS-enabled and are a crucial tool that can be deployed to save lives in the time of need.

Thanks to OneOhio funding available for emergency response, these AEDs will become more readily available all across Perry County to reduce response times when seconds matter the most.
