Lightning protection is still an important detail. It is something that you saw on most every building in the past, but not so much anymore. Our courthouse does sit on top of the hill, and lightning strikes are still real, and we need to protect the building the best we can. Therefore, we felt this should stay. The copper cables laced across the roof and down to the ground are extensive. The vertical lightning rods will be placed when the man lift returns.
