
This is what will happen if the tile roof is warm. Snow melts and re freezes before it can get down the gutters and down spouts. You never saw this happen with the slate roof because the attic and roof were as cool as the air temp. This pic of icicles was taken prior to the insulation being blown into the attic. So…if the engineers and architects are correct, this will not happen in the future.
