Perry County Courthouse | New HVAC

The last of the HVAC units were hoisted into the attic, and the opening that was left open for that task was closed and concreted shut yesterday with the final 10 yards of concrete pumped up into the attic. Any future replacements (many years) down the road will have to be carried up the stairs. It was a massive task to re-secure all those jack arches and get that concrete weight back on them in the attic. It is hard to imagine that all that type of brick and cement material was carried up by hand on wooden built scaffolding with the initial Construction in 1887.
