
The challenges are endless. I have shown you photos of the transformation of the old Treasurer’s Office into the needed “shared” Magistrate court room for all three courts. This pic shows the floor of the three old rooms at the intersection of where the two walls were removed. We have three sections of original floor, and they are all different elevations. The main area is the lowest. Adding additional subfloor in that entire area is expensive. The two smaller areas are higher, but are sitting on the Jack Arch, which is impossible to lower. We are going to be creative and make the transition to the magistrates bench a step up that will run the width of the room. It will work within the system that will have an elevated bench. Once completed, it will be another conquered design challenge that will be behind the curtain and forgotten to the ages.
