Scaffolding erectors modified historic stairway scaffolding to accommodate the elevator shaft demo. Roofers have started install box gutters on Northeast tower, while the masons continued tuckpointing around the Southeast and West chimneys. The demo crew has completed removing the first floor plaster ceilings and continued work on the elevator shaft. Plumbers have completed the underground plumbing on the ground floor. A structural engineer and May’s Consulting were onsite to review the clocktower structural member conditions throughout the week.
