Our Perry County Courthouse has just massive amounts of woodwork, and it is beautiful. This may be a surprise, but people have never looked upon clear finished wood grain in our Courthouse. It is all faux painted wood grain. (100% painted on wood grain). These are pics of some original finish condition door jams. You’re looking at paint. If you’re having a hard time accepting this reality, one pic shows some sanding of the paint. Tomorrow, I’ll show you what the refinished woodwork will look like.
