Perry County Courthouse | Cannon

We created many entertaining rumors when we “TEMPORARILY” relocated the cannon out of the courthouse work zone. It will return! This ground-level doorway in the SE corner will be the one and only public entrance! We live in a world where security is essential. In the past there were six entrance doors; those days are gone forever. That one public entrance will be monitored by a Deputy Sheriff, every minute the courthouse is open.
