An example of how bad things were getting with our Courthouse! These are massive sandstones at the base of the bell tower. Cracked, broken, mortar gone and sliding out of place, allowing water into the tower structure. Imagine the potential disaster if that stone slid off and fell to the ground! The last pic is of the new tuckpointing and how they all look now.
