Perry County Commissioners present AEDs to the Sheriff's Office.

March 5, 2025

On Wednesday March 5th, The Perry County Board of Commissioners presented 5 mobile AED (Automated External Defibrillator) units to the Perry County Sheriff’s Department.

These units will be deployed with the Perry County road deputies so when they are needed for emergency response they can reduce critical response time during a cardiac arrest.

These AED’s are GPS enabled and are a crucial tool that can be deployed to save lives in the time of need.

Thanks to the OneOhio funding available for emergency response, these AEDs will become more readily available all across Perry County to reduce response times when seconds matter the most.
