Perry County Commissioners Welcome the MORPC

The Perry County Commissioners welcomed the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) to their weekly meeting on May 28th. MORPC is a vital partnership for our County providing resources for planning and infrastructure. Of note we are currently utilizing their summer internship program as we welcome Meredith Seta to our IT department. This program helps us acquire and fund a competitive intern to an area the Commissioners recognize as critical for our future. Along with their meeting participation they updated the Commissioners on a high-speed rail initiative that would provide connection for Chicago, Columbus and Pittsburgh. This project would utilize existing rail systems and help with the increase of traffic through the central Ohio region. Thank you MORPC for your visit to Perry County!
