Masons have completed the majority of stone washing, with plans to provide touch up after scaffold removal. They also reviewed mortar and patching mockups on-site with Mays Consulting. Roofers began existing roof demo with new sheathing install with work to continue next week. CK, SCA, Perry County, and our painting contractor reviewed interior finishes on-site.
Masons completed the North elevation stone cleaning, with the East elevation to be complete next week, and continued patching exterior masonry along the South elevation. Initial roofing materials have been delivered to the jobsite in preparation for roofers to start demolition early next week. CK iron workers will also be onsite next week to unload attic steel.
Masons completed the South elevation stone cleaning, with plans to start on the West elevation cleaning next week. They also created stone patching samples to ensure accurate color comparisons. Our window supplier and installer field measured all openings on 3/7. Trash chutes were installed on the North and south elevations, with roofing to commence imminently.

Masons continued work in the attic with focus now on the South knee wall and started removing mortar joints on the West and South building elevations. They have also continued developing field mockups for a mortar color comparison. CK is currently working with our window supplier and installer on field measuring and shop drawings. CK, our design team, and potential MEP subcontractors will meet onsite next week to review scope packages. Onsite walkthroughs with potential subcontractors are ongoing.
Scaffolding on both the East and West sides of the courthouse is 100% complete and is green tagged for use, with tower scaffolding erection to follow after roof sheathing. CK iron workers completed installation of support steel on the north elevation of the attic with the remainder of the attic steel to be delivered onsite on 2/16. Ameritech removed the communication line from West side of building on 2/13. Onsite walkthroughs with potential subcontractors are ongoing.
Scaffolding on the South side of the building is 100% complete, with West side scaffolding to be completed by end of next week. CK iron workers completed the majority of the install of support steel on the North
Elevation of the attic. Spectrum also removed the overhead fiber line above the West side scaffolding on 2/6. Onsite walkthroughs with potential subcontractors are ongoing.
Scaffolding on the South side of the building remains at 80% complete – the scaffold crew will be back onsite the week of 2/5. The majority of the masonry wall along north elevation in the attic has been rebuilt, and CK iron workers started installation of steel on the North elevation of the attic. Onsite walkthroughs with potential subcontractors are ongoing.
A masonry knee wall was completed in attic, and masons have begun removing existing joints on stone belt on east elevation. These joints are to be repointed when the weather improves. Onsite walkthroughs with potential contractors are ongoing, and an onsite meeting with CK, the county, and Spectrum representatives was conducted to discuss fiber relocation in the west alleyway.
Ludowici tile was delivered to the jobsite.
