The Board directs the work of the Perry County Park District and provides mission-based leadership and strategic governance. Perry County Park District’s Board Members serve a three-year term and are eligible for re-appointment. Board meetings are held monthly.
This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the Perry County Park District’s mission. Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
*Professional experience with significant leadership accomplishments in business, government, philanthropy, or the nonprofit sector.
*An understanding and commitment to the communities served by the Perry County Park District.
*Skills in facilitating and a natural ability to cultivate relationships and build consensus among diverse individuals.
*Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a passion for improving the lives of Perry County Park District’s beneficiaries.
Service on Perry County Park District’s Board of Park Commissioners is without remuneration, except for costs in relation to Board Members’ duties.
