Perry County Mobility Management

Perry County Mobility Management provides education and outreach to individuals experiencing transportation issues. We can assist with solutions using ride providers and options within our local community resources.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is Mobility Management?
Mobility Management helps connect individuals with the best available transportation options in our community. Our goal is to make it easier for everyone—especially seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those without personal transportation—to access work, medical appointments, shopping, and community activities.

Who can use Perry County Mobility Management services?
Anyone in Perry County! While our focus is on assisting residents with limited transportation options, our services are available to the general public.

Is this a transportation service like a bus or taxi?
Not exactly. PCMM does not operate its own fleet of vehicles. Instead, we work with local transportation providers (like Perry County Transit) and community partners to coordinate trips and connect you to the right service.

How much does it cost?
Many of the transportation options we connect you to are low-cost or even free, depending on eligibility and funding. We’ll help you find the most affordable solution for your needs.

How do I request help?
Just give us a call at 740-342-5423. We’ll talk with you about your transportation needs and guide you through your options.

What types of trips can you help me arrange?
We can assist with trips for:

  • Medical appointments
  • Employment and job training
  • Grocery shopping and errands
  • Social or recreational activities
  • Education or classes

Do you only serve Perry County?
Our services are based in Perry County, but we can help arrange trips to nearby counties for medical care, employment, or other essential needs if transportation options are available.

Is my information kept confidential?
Yes. All personal information you share with PCMM is kept strictly confidential and used only to connect you to transportation services.

How is Mobility Management funded?
Our program is supported through grants, partnerships, and community support. This funding allows us to provide our services at little or no cost to residents in need.

How can I learn more or support PCMM?
Call us at 740-342-5423 or follow Perry County Mobility Management on social media for updates, events, and ways to get involved.
