Fairview Assisted Living (FAL) has experience that exceeds expectations. We are a community-based facility offering the highest standard of care for your elderly loved one. FAL provides intimate personalized services that combine attention with courtesy to enhance independence and dignity. FAL is owned and operated by the Perry County Commissioners in accordance with Chapter 5155 of the Ohio Revised Code. The facility was established in the late 1800’s and the building was completed in 1902. Today, FAL is a pleasant place for Perry County Residents to live as we continue to provide quality just like home care. The Perry County Commissioners are supportive in every effort to preserve the historical tradition of providing Perry County with this unique service.

Can my loved one and I take a tour of the facility?
Yes! Please feel free to stop by and visit. We are available for tours between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. We look forward to the opportunity to serve you.

What is required for admission to FAL?
Admission is Monday – Friday, 9:00 am. through 3:00 p.m. exclusively for Perry County residents. The Ohio Department of Health requires a two-step Mantoux TB test prior to admission. Applicants must also submit a medical history along with a current physician’s statement.

What services does FAL currently offer?
Our monthly rate is $650.00. FAL offers its residents:
• room and board
• laundry services
• routine personal hygiene
• assistance with the administration of medications
• pharmacy services
• appointment coordination
• respite care
• professional and caring staff 24 hours per day
• three wholesome meals per day, plus snacks
• a wide variety of weekly social events

FAL currently provides care for ambulatory persons ages 62 and older. We support an at-home environment to ease the transition from independent living. Individuals are encouraged to bring personal touches from home. All large furnishings are provided upon admittance. Our resident capacity is currently 30 individuals, male or female. We have convenient sitting rooms located on each floor, an activity room, and a communal dining area where all meals are served. Residents are free to come and go as they please, often leaving the facility for daily, overnight, and weekend visits. Residents may have a personal vehicle on the premises upon authorization.

FAL provides inclusive superior care options in New Lexington, Ohio. We treat each resident as if they were family and are highly respectful of each individual’s right to privacy. Senior Assisted Living residents are active in a wide range of fun activities and events on our daily schedule. FAL offers a great alternative for on-the-go seniors who can no longer live independently but are not in need of skilled medical attention. Our highly trained staff provides assistance where needed and monitors each resident, adjusting to the appropriate level of care.

Do you have an apartment like setting?
No, we offer private rooms, semi-private rooms, and dorms.

Do you have private restrooms?
No, our facility has community bathrooms.

Can someone assist me or my loved one with showers?
Yes, we assist with residents’ showers.

Are meals prepared?
Yes! Breakfast, lunch and dinner are prepared, and snacks are served twice a day. However, we cannot accommodate special diets or food preparation.
