Employers: Sheridan High School is hosting a Job and Career Fair on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sheridan High School - Thornville, Ohio. Please complete the event registration form by Friday, January 26, 2024
Dear Organization,
I would like to formally invite you to participate in our Job & Career Fair on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 6:30-8:00pm in the Sheridan High School Commons. This event will be an opportunity for our 9-12 students, parents and community members to talk to area businesses about job and career opportunities in their organization. We are hoping that in addition to learning about various career opportunities, that students, parents and community will also be able to get information about current and summer employment opportunities.
We will be providing tables for you to set up a display as you would normally use at a job & career fair. The display items may include your organization's tablecloth and any materials that participants could pick up including applications. You may want to bring small promotional items to hand out to interested students such as pens, pencils, post-its, etc. as part of your display.
We will provide a small snack for organization participants the night of the event.
Chromebooks will be available to participants to apply to various jobs on-line.
In addition, we would like for each organization to bring one item that can be used as a door prize such as a T-shirt or hat in addition to bringing a small item such as a pen, lanyard or keychain for anyone that applies to your organization.
