CLERK OF COURTS

The Perry County, Ohio Clerk of Courts office manages and maintains records associated with protection orders, criminal filings, divorces and dissolutions.

The Perry County, Ohio Recorder’s Office maintains land records in an organized and easily accessible format. Many types of documents are recorded for public record including land ownership, title transfers and mortgage history. The Recorder’s Office also offers Fraud Alert to the Landowners of Perry County at no cost.

TITLE OFFICE

The Perry County, Ohio Title Office issues titles for motor vehicles, motorcycles, off-road bikes, ATVs, UTVs, travel trailers, campers, mobile homes and watercraft boats, motors, and jet skis / wave runners. Duplicates for lost or stolen titles and memorandums can also be issued through the Title Office.

The Title Office does not issue license plates, driver’s licenses, or 45-day tags. These are issued through the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles – contact them at 740-342-3609 for questions concerning these services.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE

The Perry County, Ohio Sheriff’s Office provides criminal and traffic incident records upon request via a form on the Sheriff’s website. Individual criminal records are available [need detail on this].

PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE

The Perry County, Ohio Prosecutor’s Office represents Perry County in civil and criminal cases. The Office maintains records of tried criminal cases and other work completed in the court.
