The Perry County Board of Developmental Disabilities (PCBDD) is a government agency located in New Lexington, Ohio. Since 1967, the PCBDD has been dedicated to supporting children and adults with developmental disabilities who reside in Perry County and currently serves over 475 people.
The PCBDD mission is making connections to promote abilities and enrich lives. The PCBDD strives to ensure the availability of services, support, programs, and resources that assist eligible people with disabilities to make choices and live the best life they choose to live.
PCBDD has the vision of community without barriers, where everyone can thrive in their communities having typical access to housing, transportation, employment, education, health and welfare, recreation, and social opportunities.

The PCBDD primarily utilizes local levy dollars, in addition to state and federal funding to provide the
essential needs of eligible people with developmental disabilities. Services and supports can begin before
